Why Amazing Starlab

On the 4th of November we had an incursion called Starlab. It was great and I got lots of new learning from it. Here’s some of the things I learnt:

Earth got hit by a planet the size of Mars over a billion years ago. It was called Theia.

We can only see one side of the moon at all times and when it’s in front of the Sun (unless eclipse) we can’t see it at all.

The Sun is the highest on December the 22nd.

Starlab was a really good experience. I learnt a lot even if it just adding to my previous knowledge.

Quiz: If December the 22nd is when the Sun is the highest, on what date is the Sun lowest on. Once you found out, leave a comment with the answer.

I also wanted to comment on the Starlab post. I really like the tittle but there’s nothing really to doubt.
