This week we have been learning about angles, triangles and how to use a protractor. For the angles we learnt that the three angles were- right angle, obtuse and acute. For the triangles we found that there were three names- equilateral, isosceles and scalene.
We also learnt a new maths game called Target one-hundred. The protractor was difficult and lots of people struggled but got the hang of it in the end.
We read a two books called: An ANZAC tale and Gallipoli. In our theme book, we made a poster about what we knew. I included facts like: the ANZAC’s came in 1915 and left in 1918. They wore slouch hats. Rosemary is the flower of remembrance for World War One. ANZAC day is on the 25th of April.
What I didn’t know
I didn’t know that ANZAC stands for- Australia New Zealand Army Corps.
